⠗     At the end of the fall in 2008, the KU Drumline decided to continue drumming into the spring.  With the help of former graduate teaching assistant Dr. Greg Haynes, the students formed the first KU Winter Drumline.  The first season of this drumline consisted of both people who were on drumline in the fall, and first timers.  It also consisted of both current students, and graduates.  The Winter drumline went on to play various pep events such as the Oliver Hall BBQ, Hawks Cops & Kids and The Kansas City Royals home opening baseball game.  The winter line ended their season with a concert featuring music of the video game Mega-Man II.  This half electronic half live action concert was a great finish to the first season of KU’s Winter Drumline.

⠗    There will not be a KU winter drumline for the 2009-2010 season.
